On August 20, 2019, Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, MI went live with MEDITECH’s most advanced EMR – Expanse. Memorial converted from a 27-year-old, highly customized, install of MEDITECH’s MAGIC EMR in the hospital and AllScripts in the ambulatory clinics and practices. The hospital and all 30 clinics (spanning five counties) went live on a single day. Memorial’s physicians and clinicians are now benefiting from the fully integrated EMR, seamlessly bridging Acute and Ambulatory patient services.
CereCore assisted Memorial by providing project management as well as Clinical and Revenue Cycle project leadership coupled with Ambulatory, Pharmacy, Oncology, and Revenue Cycle subject matter expertise. CereCore also provided “at the elbow” support for the physicians in both the hospital and clinics, with more than 28 dedicated resources.
“The CereCore team was an invaluable resource to our project. From start to finish, CereCore provided the expertise, insight and guidance to assist us with a successful, on time go-live. I would highly recommend their team and services to any organization,” said Thomas Kurtz, Vice President of Information Services and CIO of Memorial Healthcare. “Not only did CereCore exceed our expectations with project management and subject matter experts required of MEDITECH’s READY implementation, they also had a pool of specialty resources readily available to assist in several additional areas of the Expanse system.”
