On September 1, 2016, Pacific Alliance Medical Center (PAMC) in Los Angeles, California went live with the MEDITECH 6.1 Electronic Health Record. CereCore provided project methodology, operational knowledge, MEDITECH subject matter expertise to allow PAMC to meet organizational requirements and optimize workflow prior to the target go-live date.
For the transition from MEDITECH 6.0 to 6.1, CereCore provided consultants for project management, registration, scheduling, abstracting, HIM, scanning/archiving and surgical services. As a result, PAMC is now able to leverage the latest version of MEDITECH and take a step closer to MEDITECH’s web-based platform.
CereCore was selected to lead this upgrade because of its experience and MEDITECH expertise. “CereCore provided people with the experience and skills we needed to complete this upgrade in time,” says John D. Brown, Chief Information Officer of PAMC. “Their team made the transition easier and we are now able to take advantage of our investment in MEDITECH 6.15.”
Congratulations to PAMC, CereCore and MEDITECH teams for a successful upgrade!
