How Surgery Partners Scaled IT Operations with Managed Services

With one EHR, Thomas Hospitals will be able to expand our services and capabilities to better serve our patients, physicians, and community now and well into the future. We could not have achieved our success without the help of CereCore, MEDITECH and all of our employees, and we would like to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication to the project; as well as the care of our community.

The CereCore team is doing great work. One of their consultants leading the General Ledger Optimization is a former Accountant and is helping us revamp our entire chart of accounts which will result in greater accounting standardization and financial reporting throughout North Country Healthcare. Another highlight of the ongoing Optimization work is CereCore's ability to quickly pivot. Working closely with North Country Healthcare, their consulting team came up with options to assist with claim edits in response to the Change Healthcare challenges.

The journey of integrating such sophisticated technology like MEDITECH Expanse within our healthcare system was ambitious. CereCore’s expertise, commitment, and collaborative approach were pivotal in ensuring a smooth transition and in overcoming the myriad challenges we encountered. I am proud of what we have achieved together and am confident that our efforts will significantly benefit our healthcare system and the communities we serve.

Not only did CereCore exceed our expectations with project management and subject matter experts required of MEDITECH’s READY implementation, they also had a pool of specialty resources readily available to assist in several additional areas of the Expanse system.

For all the nights that I tossed and turned worried about how we were going to connect 128 different interfaces and make them all work, I do have to give a ton of credit to the project team that CereCore put together for us.

CereCore team members delivered extraordinary work and demonstrated their talent and dedication to our MEDITECH Expanse go-live. This made our high stakes implementation a huge success. I appreciate the CereCore team preparing and challenging us to do the necessary preparation to ensure success. The biggest issue we had with the Expanse Go-Live was running out of free pizza at lunch.

CereCore is very responsive to any requests that we have. They learn and adapt to our processes while overcoming any barriers put in their way. Chris and Shelby have always been incredibly friendly and easy to work with.

I couldn’t have made it without CereCore during my first year at Ohio Valley Hospital, given the challenges we were facing. CereCore pulled together very competent resources at a moment’s notice throughout the project. For example, as we were optimizing one of our modules in MEDITECH, we were completely lost. Within a month, however, CereCore had us exactly where we needed to be.

With the help of CereCore we were able to take two hospitals on different systems to a single patient record. The CereCore team handled every aspect of this project with efficiency and expertise and we couldn’t have done it without them.

During the Christmas explosion in Nashville, the team at CereCore reacted timely and was able to move our entire platform to a location in Texas and had our organization back-up and operational in just a few short days, AMAZING! They have been instrumental in moving Thomas Health to a single IT platform, including our physician practices in February 2021.
